New Testament Greek I

Students will need to learn (memorize) the Greek alphabet and be able to write it before the class begins. THERE WILL BE A QUIZ!

Furthermore, by the first day of class you will need to look over chapters 5-7 of the textbook and be able to explain what the following grammatical terms mean (use the textbook, not the dictionary!). You do not need to know the forms in Greek, but simply know what the terms mean and how to apply them in English grammar (i.e., make up sentances and be able to identify the parts with these terms):

Subject

Verb

Possessive Noun

Direct Object

Indirect Object

Nominative

Genitive

Dative

Accusative

The following websites have all the information you need to learn the alphabet, but it is also in the first few chapters of the textbook. You will be required to have the alphabet and the listed terms learned, but any of the textbook the student is able to work ahead to complete before class will be very helpful.
